The following is a list of stipulations and requirements you will need to follow to enter and win!
1. Teams must have at least 4 members, a name, and be registered by week 4 with a Rough Cut officer. (a filmmaker can be a part of multiple teams) Register via facebook or send an e-mail to airoughcuttampa@gmail.com
2. The completed video can be of any genre, but cannot exceed 3 minutes or be any shorter than 1 minute.
3. Your video must contain a featured appearance by a Rough Cut cabinet member. Be creative, as this cameo can come in any form.

The finished projects must be submitted by week 11, and will be posted to the Rough Cut YouTube channel. Although the winning video will not be decided exclusively by it’s number of views, popularity will be a factor.
It is encouraged that you refrain from producing offensive content that may discourage multiple views.
A jury comprised of Rough Cut officers, Ai Tampa faculty, and guest judges will choose the winning video.
The winning video will be chosen based on its originality and skillful execution.
The winning team will be announced within the first 4 weeks of the Spring 2011 quarter at a special screening of all the entries, and receive a prize pack! The pack will include a guaranteed entry into the 2011 Ai Tampa Student Film Showcase along with prizes designed to help the winners both celebrate and produce future projects.

Rough Cut elections are here, current candidates are Tyler Holland, Mike Musselman, Anth Wareham and Matthew Jimenez. Here is how they plan to get your votes.

Tyler Holland plans to generate interest and inspiration by creating work, promoting work, showcasing work and creating work. With his strong held beliefs that film students live and die by their demo reel. Check out his campaign video.

Mike Musselman's intentions are to create an explosion of resources and information by word of mouth, online presence and through events. Mike plans to use communication to help film students learn and be involved so they can become inspired and educated.

Anth Wareham's strategy is to make more of an effort to use Rough Cut to reach and give back to the community by creating opportunities for Rough Cut members to be involved in charities, fundraisers and other events outside of school.

Matthew Jimenez plans to promote opportunities for film students to be involved in and work with people who are experienced and knowledgeable. Also to learn from past mistakes to better the efficiency and interest in Rough Cut.
